Abstract

Razvoj kvantnih računala mogao bi u bližoj budućnosti uzrokovati mnoge sigurnosne probleme. Zbog toga se javlja potreba za razvijanjem novih post-kvantnih kriptografskih algoritama koji bi bili otporni na probijanje kvantnim računalom. U radu je najprije ukratko opisan princip rada kvantnih računala. Opisan je Shorov algoritam kao trenutno najveći sigurnosni problem i natječaj raspisan od strane NIST-a za uvođenje post-kvantnog kriptografskog standarda. Opisana je matematička pozadina i način rada nekih predloženih algoritama. Dan je opis programskog sučelja koje koristi slobodno dostupne izvorne kodove kandidata i omogućava njihovo jednostavno korištenje. Naveden je pregled nekih svojstava predloženih algoritama.

Abstract (english)

The development of quantum computers could cause numerous security issues in the near future. It is because of this that a need for the development of new post-quantum cryptographic algorithms has arisen, ones that would be resistant to breaches through quantum computers. This paper first shortly describes the principle upon which quantum computers function. Shor's algorithm is outlined as the presently greatest security issue, as well as a tender put out by NIST, concerning the introduction of a post-quantum cryptographic standard. The mathematical background and mode of operation of some suggested algorithms are also described. A description of a software interface which uses freely available candidate source code and enables its use is given. An overview of certain properties of suggested algorithms is also given.
