Abstract

U ovom je radu istražena mogućnost implementacije Costasove petlje na mikrokontrolerima iz porodice PSoC 5LP uz minimalno korištenje vanjskih komponenata. Na početku je dan teoretski pregled vezan uz Costasovu petlju uz kompletan matematički izvod. U radu je detaljno objašnjen i razrađen svaki gradivni blok od kojeg se na kraju gradi Costasova petlja na odabranom mikrokontroleru. Obavljeno je mjerenje i testiranje na svakom gradivnom bloku zasebno te su navedena ograničenja, ali i moguća poboljšanja u odnosu na trenutnu implementaciju. Ciljano megahercno frekvencijsko područje je samo po sebi dovoljno izazovno pošto je većina komponenata na PSoC-u namijenjena korištenju u rasponu do nekoliko stotina kiloherca. Zaključno, implementacija Costasove petlje na mikrokontroleru iz porodice PSoC 5LP je moguća, ali na nižim frekvencijama od planiranih.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis was research on possible implementation of Costas Loop on Cypress PSoC 5LP microcontroller, with minimal usae of external components. The thesis starts with theoretical overview with complete mathematical explanation of Costas Loop. The thesis explains in detail and elaborates each building block from which the Costas Loop on the selected microcontroller was finally built. Measurements and testing were perfromed on each building block separately. Limitations and possible improvements compared to the current implementation were listed. The target megahertz frequency range is challenging enough by itself, as most of the components on PSoC are intended for use in the range of up to several hundred kilohertz. In conclusion, implementation of Costas Loop on a PSoC 5LP microcontroller is possible, but at lower frequencies than planned.
