Abstract

Rad pojašnjava potrebu za umjetnim proširivanjem podataka, daje kratki pregled metoda koje se koriste prilikom proširivanja skupova slikovnih i tekstualnih podataka i daje pojašnjenje specifičnosti vremenskih serija u tom kontekstu. Rad daje pregled odabranih metoda za umjetno proširivanje skupova podataka vremenskih serija, pojašnjenje skupova podataka na kojem će podaci biti testirani i rezultate primjene odabranih metoda na odabranim skupovima.
Na kraju, rad raspravlja o tome postoji li najbolji algoritam za tu namjenu.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explains the need for the augmentation of time series, gives a brief overview of methods for augmentation of image and textual data and explains specificities of time series in that context. The thesis gives an overview of chosen methods for time series data augmentation, explains datasets the methods are tested on, and gives the results of application of chosen methods to the chosen datasets.
At the end, the thesis argues the existence of the best method for that purpose.
