Abstract

Diplomskim radom obrađene su tehnologije mrežnog usmjeravanja pomoću oznaka, poznatije kao višeprotokolna zamjena oznaka (MPLS) te nastavak na nju poznatiju kao usmjeravanje pomoću segmenata (Segment Routing). Pojašnjeno je kako MPLS tehnologija skraćuje potrebno vrijeme usmjeravanja paketa zbog toga što usmjeritelji ne koriste velike i zahtjevne tablice IP usmjeravanja, već skok-po-skok oznake. Opisani su protokoli koji podržavaju ovu tehnologiju. U ovom radu došli smo do zaključka da MPLS VPN... More proširuje spektar IPv4 adresa, koji je dosta ograničen, time što je svaki tunel jedinstven. Segment Routing nastavak je i poboljšanje MPLS tehnologije jer ne koristi signalizacijske protokole te je zapaženo da se njegovim korištenjem manje zagušuje mreža nepotrebnim signalizacijskim prometom. Uz to, pojašnjene su oznake segmenata koje se postavljaju na ulaznom čvoru čime se definira put kroz MPLS ili IPv6 mrežu davatelja usluga. U ovom radu su implementirani primjeri MPLS i Segment Routing mreže u GNS3 mrežnom simulatoru na Cisco mrežnim uređajima. Abstract (english)

This thesis presents technologies of network routing based on labels, known as multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) aswell as the continuation of it known as segment routing. It is explained how MPLS technology reduces routing time because routers do not use large and demanding IP routing tables, but instead hop-by-hop labels. Segment routing is continuation and improvement of MPLS technology because it does not use signaling protocols which can congest network with unnecessary signaling traffic. In addition, segment labels that are placed on the ingress node are clarified, thus defining the path through the MPLS or IPv6 network of the service provider. In this paper, examples of MPLS and segment routing are implemented in GNS3 network simulator on Cisco network devices.
