Abstract
Zloćudne obitelji koje koriste algoritme za generiranje imena domena se svakodnevno ažuriraju i kompromitiraju sve više novih poslužitelja. Istraživači konstantno ulažu napore u smišljanje klasifikatora koji bi uspješno detektirao sve nove umjetno generirane domene, no nailaze na mnoge prepreke od kojih su najznačajnije ogromna količina računalnih resursa i analiza mrežnog prometa. Cilj ovog rada je objasniti zbog čega je detekcija umjetno generiranih domena zahtjevan problem i prikazati performanse različitih klasifikatora koji su se pokazali kao dobrim modelima za detekciju.
Abstract (english)
Malicious families based on domain generation algorithms are updated daily and keep on compromising new servers on a daily basis. Researchers are constantly making efforts to create a classifier that would successfully detect all new artificially generated domains but they encounter many obstacles, the most significant of which are the huge amount of computer resources and network traffic analysis. The aim of this paper is to explain why the detection of algorithmically generated domains is a complicated problem and to present the performance of different classifiers that have proven to be good models for detection.
