Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje temu segmentacije slika primjenom konvolucijskih neuronskih mreža. Navedene su i objašnjene teme umjetne inteligencije, strojnog i dubokog učenja te računalnog vida. Objašnjene su umjetne neuronske mreže i proces učenja mreže uz naglasak na konvolucijske neuronske mreže. Navedene su i objašnjene temeljne arhitekture konvolucijskih mreža te najpoznatije arhitekture u području segmentacije slika. Ostvarena je implementacija segmentacije slika primjenom konvolucijskih neuronskih mreža u programskom jeziku Python nad skupom podataka Oxford-IIIT Pet te su prikazani rezultati treniranja mreže.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis discusses image segmentation using convolutional neural networks. Topics of artificial intelligence, machine and deep learning are mentioned and explained. Artificial neural networks and the process of learning networks with an emphasis on convolutional neural networks are explained. The basic architectures of convolutional networks and the most well-known architectures in the field of image segmentation are listed and explained. The implementation of image segmentation was implemented using convolutional neural networks in the programming language Python over the data set Oxford-IIIT Pet and the results of network training are presented.
