Abstract

Točno mjerenje ravnoće čelične trake u realnom vremenu osnova je za uspješnu regulaciju ravnoće čelične trake i važan korak u postizanju željene kvalitete i produktivnosti. Predmet ovog rada je razvoj mjernog sustava temeljenog na optoelektroničkoj metodi za poboljšanje mjerenja ravnoće rubova čelične trake. Objašnjen je pojam ravnoće čelične trake te su analizirani problemi mjerenja ravnoće s naglaskom na probleme mjerenja ravnoće u području rubova čelične trake s osvrtom na postojeće metode rješavanja problema. Predloženo je rješenje problema korištenjem optoelektroničkog sustava temeljenog na 2D skeneru sastavljenog od laserskog izvora i kalibrirane kamere. Projiciranjem laserske linije na površinu trake i detekcijom linije na snimljenoj slici, u realnom vremenu dobiva se presjek iz kojeg se obradom određuju pozicije rubova trake i rekonstruira slika ravnoće čelične trake. Na temelju rekonstruirane slike ravnoće vrši se detekcija i mjerenje defekata ravnoće na rubnim područjima. Opisana optoelektronička metoda analizirana je korištenjem aplikacije simulacije mjerenja u programskom paketu MATLAB i korištenjem laboratorijskog simulatora defekata ravnoće čelične trake.

Abstract (english)

A real time accurate flatness measurement of the steel strips is a fundamental issue for the successful steel strip flatness regulation and an important step in achieving of the desired product quality and the production efficiency. The subject of this paper is the development of a measurement system based on optoelectronic method for improvement of the steel strip edge flatness measurement. We introduce the concept of the steel strip flatness and analyze flatness measurement problems, in the particular near edges of the steel strip and existing methods of solving these measurement problems. The optoelectronic measuring system based on 2D scanner, consisting of laser sources and a calibrated camera, was proposed as a solution that overcomes flatness measuring problems at the steel strip edges. By projecting the laser line on the steel strip surface and its detection on the camera image, we successfully obtain steel strip data, in real time, to compute the position of the steel strip edges and to reconstruct the shape profile of the strip. A reconstructed strip profile is used for calculation of a steel strip flatness index in the strip edge area. A described optoelectronic method is demonstrated using a measurement simulation in the program package MATLAB and using the custom made laboratory simulator aimed to simulate realistic strip defects.
