Abstract

Za izradu diplomskog rada osmišljen je podatkovni model kojim će se
perzistirati podaci potrebni za rad sustava. Kad je model osmišljen i testiran
definiranim slučajevima korištenja započeo je razvoj samog sustava.
Odabran je “code-first” pristup razvoja baze podataka. Iz implementacije
baze podataka u kodu stvorena je baza podataka upotrebom migracija, a
potom i ostali slojevi sustava.
Sustav se sastoji od baze podataka i višeslojne web-aplikacije. Baza
podataka implementirana je upotrebom PostgreSQL sustava za upravljanje
bazama podataka, dok je web-aplikacija razvijena uz Microsoftove
tehnologije i napisana c# programskim jezikom.
Dokumentacija diplomskog rada sadrži opis zadatka, slučajeve korištenja,
opise korištenih tehnologija i detaljan opis arhitekture sustava. Sustav je
izgrađen MVC arhitekturalnim obrascem koji sustav inicijalno dijeli na tri
logički odvojena sloja.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis focuses on developing web application for tracking
various sports competitions. Challenge in this thesis was creating data model
that can hold data from different sports. After developing such an model, use
cases were written to further test model and determine its quality. With data
model developed and tested, development of web application started. "Codefirst" approach was selected to create data layer of the application which was
later used to create remaining layers and generate database using
migrations.
Implemented system consists of database and web-application. Dabase is
implemented in PostgreSQL while web-application is developed using
Microsoft technologies and is written in c# programming language.
Documentation of this master thesis consists of assignment description, use
cases and detailed description of architecture used.
