Abstract

Ovaj rad obuhvaća pojmove vezane uz programiranje podatkovne ravnine mrežnih uređaja. Naglasak je na modernom programskom jeziku P4 i programabilnoj arhitekturi preklopnika. Za razliku od tradicionalne arhitekture preklopnika, danas je omogućeno inženjeru da dizajnira i uređuje podatkovni sloj referentnog modela računalnih mreža. Programski jezik P4 pruža podršku za više različitih arhitektura, a za brigu oko fizičkih resursa zadužen je kompajler. Za razliku od standardnih mrežnih uređaja, moderni mrežni uređaji puno su brži i fleksibilniji, pa se njihovo ponašanje može povezati s radom softvera. Implementacijom tehnike tuneliranja prikazan je proces slanja paketa od izvorišta do odredišta primjenjujući arhitekturu apstraktnog modela komutatora koji podržava programabilnost podatkovne ravnine.

Abstract (english)

This final work cover concepts related to programming the data plane of network devices. The emphasis is on the modern programming language P4 and the programmable architecture of the switch. Unlike traditional switch architecture, now it is possible for an engineer to design and maintenance the data layer of a computer network reference model. Programming language P4 provides support for multiple architectures and the compiler is responsible for the care of physical resources. Unlike standard network devices, modern devices are much faster and more flexible, so their behavior can be linked to the software. By implementing tunneling techniques, the process of sending the packet from the source to the destination is shown by applying the architecture of the abstract switch model that supports data plane programmability.
