Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je postupak detekcije i segmentacije kalibracijskog objekta pomoću kojega se može ostvariti računalna postojanost boja, tj. odrediti dominantni izvor svjetlosti i ukloniti njegov utjecaj na boje u slici. Problem detekcije objekta u slikama riješen je metodama temeljenim na strojnom učenju. Opisani su Viola-Jones, SIFT i SURF algoritmi te njihova implementacija. Nakon uspješne detekcije objekta opisana je segmentacija istog, tj. određeni su slikovni elementi u slikama koji pripadaju objektu.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis the process of detection and segmentation of a calibration object is described. The object is used to achieve computer colour stability aka. to determine the light source and remove its effects on the colours within the image. The issue of object detection was solved using machine learning based methods. Viola-Jones, SIFT and SURF algorithms were described, as well as their implementation. After successful detection of the object, the segmentation of the object is described and pixels which belong to the object were labeled.
