Abstract

U ovom radu primarni cilj je bio opisati praktičnu implementaciju generiranja bijelog šuma pomoću lavinskog proboja PN-spoja. Uz to ciljevi su bili opisati kako iz tog šuma generirati prave slučajne brojeve i koje se sve teškoće pri tome mogu susresti. Predočen je i kratki teoretski uvod u vrste šuma i zašto je za projekt odabran lavinski šum. Izvedene su i simulacije nad isprojektiranom analognom sekcijom uređaja i onda su obavljena mjerenja na implementaciji te sekcije na tiskanoj pločici.

Abstract (english)

Primary goal of this thesis was to describe the practical implementation of generating white noise using avalanche breakdown of the PN-junction. In addition, the goals were to describe how to generate true random numbers from that noise and all the difficulties that may be encountered in these procedures. A short theoretical introduction to the types of noise was also presented and why avalanche noise was chosen for the project. Simulations of the designed analog section of the device were performed and measurements were made on the implementation of this section on the printed circuit board.
