Abstract

U ovom radu opisuje se primjena protokola BGP u komunikacijskim mrežama koji služi za razmjenu informacija i dostupnosti između međusobno povezanih grupa usmjeritelja koje nazivamo autonomnim sustavima. S obzirom da je protokol BGP po prirodi protokol vektora staza što znači da održava informacije o putu koje se dinamički ažuriraju, kao takav je i opisan. Ukratko su opisane podjele protokola BGP po načinu rada s obzirom da može raditi kao protokol iBGP (engl. Internal Border Gateway Protocol) i eBGP (engl. External Border Gateway Protocol). Protokol BGP kao algoritam za pronalazak najboljeg puta koristi algoritam odabira najboljeg puta koji se sastoji od 13 točaka koje služe za odabir najpovoljnijeg puta s obzirom da prima više puteva do istog odredišta. U radu je opisana simulacija protokola BGP u simuliranom okruženju alata Cisco Packet tracer te je prikazana konfiguracija usmjeritelja i računala te njihovo povezivanje kako bi bila moguća simulacija. U simulaciji su prikazani i opisani formati zaglavlja poruka Open, Update i KEEPALIVE te njihova uloga u radu protokola.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes the application of BGP protocols in communication networks serving the exchange of information and availability between interconnected groups related to the name of autonomous systems. Given that the BGP protocol is by nature the path vector protocol, which means that it maintains information about the path that is dynamically updated, as described. Briefly describe the BGP protocol division by mode as it can work as an iBGP (Internal Border Gateway Protocol) and eBGP (External Border Gateway Protocol). The BGP protocol uses the 13-way algorithm that chooses best path when there are multiple paths to the same destination. The paper simulates BGP protocols in the simulated Cisco Packet Tracer tool environment. The computer-focused configuration and their connection are shown in order to be able to simulate. The simulation shows and describes the Open, Update and KEEPALIVE header formats and these features in the protocol work.
