Abstract

Modelsko prediktivno upravljanje omogućuje efikasno upravljanje klimatizacijom zgrade s integriranim korisnikovim zahtjevima.
Optimizacijski problem mora biti izabran tako da jamči rekurzivnu ostvarivost i uštedu energije, a da istovremeno ne smanjuje osjetno ugodu korisnika.
Kako bi postigao kompromis između uštede energije i komfora, regulator koristi predikcije poremećaja (vanjska temperatura, sunčevo zračenje, korištenje prostora) koje djeluju na sustav te iskorištava besplatnu energiju iz okoline.
Vrednovanje komfora integrirano je na dva načina, praćenjem zadane temperature i minimalizacijom predviđenog srednjeg glasa korisnika.
Validacija rezultata napravljena je usporedbom s konvencionalnim regulatorima podešenima da imaju istu razinu fleksibilnosti prilikom upravljanja temperaturom u zoni kao prva strategija kod modelskog prediktivnog upravljanja.
Svi regulatori su testirani na dvocijevnom sustavu sa sezonskim grijanjem i hlađenjem, što je najčešći slučaj u primjeni.
Pokazano je da formulacija modelskog prediktivnog upravljanja, uz iste zadane temperature, nadmašuje ne-prediktivne regulatore budući da troši manje energije za postizanje iste ili veće razine komfora.
Korištenjem druge strategije povećava se komfor korisnika, dok ušteda energije ovisi o pretpostavljenom ponašanju korisnika s kojim se uspoređuje.
Ovakvim pristupom je integrirano indirektno automatsko postavljanje optimalne temperature zraka čime se korisnik oslobađa obaveze njene procjene i podešavanja u sustavu.

Abstract (english)

Model predictive control is identified as a solution that enables efficient air conditioning control in buildings with integrated user demands.
Optimization problem has to be chosen such that it guarantees recursive feasibility and energy savings without a noticeable decrease in users' comfort.
It utilizes predicted disturbances (ambient temperature, solar radiation, occupancy) acting on the system to achieve a compromise between energy savings and user comfort by using free energy from outside.
Comfort is integrated in two ways, by following a given temperature and minimizing predicted mean vote.
Results validation is done by fair comparison with conventional controllers, with the same level of flexibility in zone temperature control like the first strategy.
All regulators are tested for a two-pipe system with seasonal heating and cooling, which is the most common case in real applications.
It is shown that model predictive control formulation, in case of the same required temperatures, outperforms the non-predictive controllers as it uses less energy for achieving the same or higher comfort levels.
The second strategy increases user comfort, but energy saving depends on the estimated behaviour used as a baseline.
This approach integrates the indirect automatic optimal temperature setting that relieves the user from having to asses and adjust it in the system.
