Abstract

U ovom radu su teorijski objašnjeni koncepti i osnove ideje proširene stvarnosti te njezina primjena te je praktično ostvarena kombinacija virtualnih i stvarnih scena u okviru izrađene aplikacije. Opisane su osnovne karakteristike i postupci za realizaciju proširene stvarnosti.
Izrađen je prototip aplikacije koja implementira tehnologiju proširene stvarnosti u području edukacije. Implementacija programskog rješenja realizirana je u Unity razvojnoj okolini uz pomoć Vuforia biblioteka. Aplikacija... More je namijenjena olakšavanju učenja stranih jezika te omogućava korisnicima interakciju sa virtualnim objektima u stvarnom vremenu. Korisnici pomoću aplikacije mogu doživjeti novu percepciju stvarnosti i usput nešto naučiti. Primjena proširene stvarnosti je sveprisutna, a zahvaljajući ubrzanom razvoju tehnologije pametni telefoni proširenu stvarnost dovode u ruke šireg spektra korisnika.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explains the concepts and the basics of the idea of augmented reality and its applications in everyday life. A combination of virtual and realistic scenes is practically made within the created application. The basic characteristics and procedures for realizing an augmented reality application are described.
An application prototype was developed that utilizes augmented reality technology in the field of education. The implementation of the programming solution was realized in the... More Unity development environment with the help of the Vuforia libraries. The application is designed to make learning a foreign language easier and to enable users to interact with virtual objects in real-time. Users can experience a new perception of reality and learn something new while using the app. The possibilities of applying augmented reality are all around us, and thanks to the accelerated development of technology, smartphones bring the expanded reality into the hands of a wider spectrum of users.
