Abstract

Sustavi operativne podrške (Operational Support Systems – OSS) igraju ključnu ulogu u uspostavljanju modela poslovanja koji omogućuje operatoru suočavanje s izazovima dereguliranog telekomunikacijskog tržišta. Kako bi uspostavio poslovne procese koji omogućuju brzu reakciju na neočekivane promjene u zahtjevima tržišta za telekomunikacijskim uslugama i što veću automatizaciju poslovanja, operatoru su iznad svega potrebni visoko integrirani sustavi operativne podrške izvedeni standardiziranim tehnologijama. Rad analizira integraciju komponenti unutar sustava operativne podrške. Detaljnije su obrađeni i uspoređeni koncepti inicijative OSS through Java i Next Generation OSS. Rad predstavlja studijski primjer sustava operativne podrške, opisuje izvedbu studijskog primjera, integraciju u postojeće sustave i izvedbu realnog poslovnog procesa u sustavu.

Abstract (english)

Operational Support Systems (OSS) play the major role in the process of establishing business model which enables service providers to cope with the challenges of deregulated telecommunication market. In order to establish a new business process which allows a short-time response to sudden changes in telecommunication market requirements and, at the same time, the highest possible level of business automation, operators above all need highly integrated OSS built with standard-based technologies. The thesis analyses integration of components inside OSS. Further analysis of alignment OSS through Java and Next Generation OSS initiatives is also presented. Finally, the thesis describes the implementation of the experimental OSS, its integration into existing systems and a case study of a selected business process.
