Abstract

Polazeći od ISO standarda i njegove definicije kvalitete Web sjedišta kao sveukupnosti karakteristika sjedišta koja se odnose na sposobnost sjedišta da zadovolji zadane ili podrazumijevane potrebe korisnika, ovaj rad uporabljivost tretira u smislu kvalitete uporabe. Kvaliteta uporabe definirana je kao sposobnost sjedišta da omogući korisnicima postizanje utvrđenih ciljeva učinkovito, produktivno i sa zadovoljstvom u zadanom kontekstu. Disertacija predlaže model kvalitete i metodologiju izrade metrike kojom će se omogućiti kvantitativna analiza onih unutarnjih svojstava Web sjedišta koja utječu na percepciju kvalitete sjedišta sa strane korisnika. Predloženi model kvalitete Web sjedišta predstavlja hijerarhijsko stablo od tri razine. Prvu razinu modela predstavlja šest karakteristika kvalitete koje predlaže ISO standard: funkcionalnost, uporabljivost, pouzdanost, učinkovitost, prikladnost za održavanje i prenosivost. U drugoj razini, te su karakteristike dekomponirane na skup potkarakteristika, koje su u trećoj razini modela dekomponirane na skup indikatora. Rad predlaže primjenu metode "cilj, pitanje, metrika" za ocjenjivanje indikatora, potkarakteristika, karakteristika i konačne uporabljivosti sjedišta promatrane u smislu kvalitete uporabe. Predloženi model i metrika verificirani su na skupu Web sjedišta različitih zavoda Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva.

Abstract (english)

Following the ISO definition of the quality of a Web site as the totality of characteristics that relate to the capability of the site to satisfy users' stated and implied needs, this dissertation regards Web site usability as the quality of use. Quality of use is defined as the extent to which the site can be used by specified users to achieve their goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of use. This dissertation proposes the Web site quality model and methodology that enables quantitative analysis of Web sites' internal attributes that influence the users' perception of quality. The proposed quality model represents the hierarchical tree with three levels. The first level is composed of six quality characteristics defined by ISO standards: functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. The second level decomposes characteristics into subcharacteristics, which are further decomposed into third-level measurable indicators. The dissertation proposes the application of GoalQuestion-Metrics model to evaluate indicators, subcharacteristics and characteristics, as well as the total usability of the site, seen as the quality of use. The proposed model and metrics are verified on the set of Departmental Web sites at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.
