Abstract

Tijekom posljednjih desetak godina promjene u svijetu komunikacija bile su ogromne, a trend vrlo brzih promjena nastavlja se i dalje; takav jaki razvoj možemo u prvom redu zahvaliti novim i sve zahtjevnijim uslugama koje se svakog dana pojavljuju na tržištu. Deregulacija tržišta, sve veća globalizacija i široka prihvaćenost mobilnih uređaja, sposobnijih za pristup internetskoj mreži omogućili su značajan rast paketskog prometa. Ovaj rad daje prijedlog pokretnim operatorima kako osigurati podršku za sve veći paketski promet i što jednostasvniji prelaz na mrežu četvrte generacije LTE. U radu se analizira koezistencija mreža različitih generacija ali i načini osiguranja govorne usluge u paketskom okruženju. Rad, pored navedenog, sadržava pregled mreže EPS, protokola u jezgrenoj mreži EPC te proces dimenzioniranja mrežnih čvorova.

Abstract (english)

Over the past decade, changes in the communications world were enormous, and the trend of very rapid changes continues, such a strong development is primarily caused by new and increasingly demanding services that are appearing every day on the market. Deregulation of markets, increased globalization and the wide acceptance of mobile devices, capable, to access the Web have enabled a significant increase in data traffic. This paper proposes mobile operators way to provide support for the growing data traffic and easiest transition to fourth-generation LTE network. The paper analyzes consistency between networks of different generations but also a way of ensuring voice service in packet environment. The work, in addition to the above, contains an overview of EPS network, protocols in core network and the process of dimensioning the network nodes.
