Abstract

Porast broja korisnika računala, razvoj lokalnih računarskih mreža, te razvoj programskih aplikacija za iste, doveo je do sve većih zahtjeva glede kapaciteta prijenosa i protoka informacija. Stoga je upravo na tim zahtjevima i nastao ATM kao konekcijski orijentirana mreža. Trendovi tehnologije ukazuju na sve veće oslanjanje društva na laku dostupnost multimedijskih informacija, što otvara potrebu za ručno prenosivim radiokomunikacijskim video komunikatorima. Rad prikazuje osnovna obilježja radiokomunikacijskih LAN-ova, te utjecaj višestruke propagacije , fedinga i intersimbolne interferencije na prijenos signala. Dan je prikaz osnovne strukture ćelelije i WATM ćelije. Prezentirani su OSI i ATM referentni modeli, ATM komutacija.Izloženo je mjerenje kašnjenja varijacije ćelije uz pomoć OAM ćelije, te sinkrono i asinkrono mjerenje CDV-a uporabom OAM ćelija.Prezentiran je koncept radiokomunikacijskog ATM-a i arhitektura WATM protokola. Analizirani su procesi upravljanja u radiokomunikacijskom ATM-u, primopredaja i upravljanje mobilnošću. Dan je prikaz kompresije signala, s postupcima kompresije i struktura MPEG-2 standarda. Prezentiran je referentni satelitski ATM model, arhitektura širokopojasne satelitske ATM mreže i satelitski ATM protokol. Analizirani su najčešće korišteni prometni parametri izvora i parametri kvalitete prijenosa u ATM mrežama.

Abstract (english)

The increase of the number of computer users, development of local computer networks and development of program applications for the same has led to greater demands in regard of transfer capacity and information slow. Therefore ATM originated exactly from those demands as connection-orientated network. Trends of technology show greater society's relying on easy accessibility of multimedia information which opens the need for hand mobile radiocommunication video communicators. The work presents basic seatures of radiocommunication LAN-s and the effect of manifold propagation, fading and intersymbol interference on signal transport. The review of basic cell structure and WATM cell is given. OSI and ATM reference models and ATM commutation are presented.Measurement of cell variation delay with help of OAM cell is presented, sou as synchronous and asynchronous measurement of CDV with the usage of OAM cells. The article presents the concept of radiocommunication ATM and architecture of WATM protocol. The processes of maintaining in radiocommunication ATM as, transfer and mobility menagement are analised. The review of signal compression with compression procedures is given, sou as the structure of MPEG-2 standard. Reference satelite ATM model,architecture of broadband satelite network and satelite ATM protocol are presented. The most often used traffic source parameters and parameters of transfer quality in ATM networks are analized.
