Abstract

U radu je obrađen utjecaj zvuka na slušnu iritaciju životinja. Ispitane su fizikalne osnove širenja zvuka u zraku i vodi te akustički parametri tih medija u kojim žive životinje. Sistematizirana su slušna svojstva kukaca, riba, vodozemaca, gmazova, ptica i sisavaca kao i fiziologija njihovih slušnih aparata. Pritom je stavljen naglasak na sluh sisavaca s posebnim osvrtom na psihoakustičke parametre sluha. Ispitani su utjecaj i posljedice slušanja zvuka visokog intenziteta i visoke frekvencije. Dan je pregled patenata koji se bave tjeranjem životinja zvukom te usporedba raspoloživih tjeralica po njihovoj namjeni i akustičkim svojstvima. Izvršena su mjerenja akustičkih i električnih parametara šest raspoloživih tjeralica. Pomoću ispitnog uređaja izvršena su mjerenja praga iritacije štakora i pasa ultrazvukom promjenjive amplitude i frekvencije.

Abstract (english)

This thesis deals with the influence of sound on auditory irritation of animals. Basic facts on atmospheric and underwater sound propagation are given including acoustic parameters of these media in which animals live. Hearing properties of insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals are systemized including the physiology of their hearing mechanisms. The hearing of mammals has been treated more carefully with a special accent on psychological acoustic attributes. The influence of high intensity and high frequency sound on hearing has been investigated. A number of patents dealing with animal repelling by sound and existing repelling devices have been investigated according to their purpose and acoustic parameters. Measurements of acoustic and electrical parameters of six available repelling devices have been done. Finally, the threshold of irritation of rats and dogs using ultrasound of adjustable amplitude and frequency has been estimated using an experimental device.
