Abstract

Postavljen je model zadanog višestrojnog elektroenergetskog sustava (EES) longitudinalne strukture za simulaciju prijelaznih pojava u vremenskoj domeni integriranjem nelinearnih diferencijalnih jednadžbi. Korištenjem postavljenog modela provedeni su pomoću postojećeg programskog paketa za analizu stabilnosti simulacijski proračuni odziva EES na prikladno odabrane poremećaje u više karakterističnih stacionarnih radnih točaka s različitim razinama prijenosa djelatne snage duž kritičnih prijenosnih putova longitudinalnog EES.
Primjenom nerekurzivnog postupka identifikacije linearnog sustava iz simuliranih odziva nelinearnog sustava u vremenskoj domeni određeni su parametri ekvivalentnih lineariziranih modela EES reduciranog reda u odabranim stacionarnim radnim točkama, pogodni za istraživanje dinamičke stabilnosti sustava. Modalnom analizom linearnih modela EES istražena je ovisnost dominantnih spektralnih svojstava o stacionarnom stanju EES i o nekim elementima konfiguracije prijenosne mreže, posebno glede prigušenja dominantnog moda međupodručnih elektromehaničkih oscilacija.
Na temelju analize dinamičkih svojstava EES odabrana su četiri sinkrona generatora na kojima su uvedeni stabilizatori elektroenergetskog sustava (PSS) odgovarajuće strukture. Parametriranje stabilizatora provedeno je postupkom namještanja polova na linearnim modelima sustava regulacije uzbude pojedinih generatora sa sinkronim generatorom priključenim na sabirnice beskonačne snage.
Izvršeni su proračuni odziva nelinearnog i linearnog sustava s tako parametriranim stabilizatorima. Pokazano je da se primjenom stabilizatora na odgovarajućem broju agregata može osigurati rezerva dinamičke stabilnosti i ciljani maksimalni prijenos snage duž kritičnih prijenosnih putova longitudinalnog EES. Usporedbom i analizom odziva nelinearnog i linearnog sustava ukazano je na određena ograničenja korištenog postupka i sugerirana daljnja moguća područja primjene.

Abstract (english)

For the given multimachine electric power system with longitudinal structure the non-linear model suitable for time domain analysis by numerical integration of differential equations was established. The existing software package for power system stability analysis was used to perform simulations of system time-domain response to suitably chosen disturbances in different operating conditions with various levels of power transfer along critical transmission path in the longitudinal system under investigation.
Parameters of equivalent reduced-order linearized models that are suitable for dynamic stability investigation have been obtained for the chosen set of operating conditions by use of a non-recursive least-squares based identification method. Modal (eigenvalue) analysis of the obtained linear models was then used to investigate how initial operating conditions and certain variants of network configuration affect spectral properties of dominant modes, especially the damping of the dominant interarea electromechanical oscillations.
Based on the analysis of power system dynamic properties, four synchronous generators were selected to be equipped with suitably configured power system stabilizers (PSS). PSS were tuned using pole assignment method with linear models of excitation control system in a single machine-infinite bus configuration.
Time responses of the power system with properly tuned power system stabilizers were simulated using both linear and nonlinear power system model. It is shown that it would be possible to obtain the necessary dynamic stability margin and to enable the aimed maximum power transfer along critical transmission paths by use of power system stabilizers at sufficient number of generating units. Comparison and analysis of time responses of linear and nonlinear models indicates certain limitations of the used method. Further possible application of the proposed method are suggested.
