Abstract

Senzorske mreže omogućuju prikupljanje informacija iz stvarnog svijeta, te ih pretvaraju u digitalni oblik kojeg šalje putem susjednih čvorova do glavne stanice, gdje se spremaju i obrađuju u centralnom čvoru. Senzorski čvorovi prvobitno su korišteni u vojne svrhe a danas integrirani u okolinu pomažu u različitim aspektima života kao što su izbjegavanje prirodnih katastrofa poput poplava, nadziranje okoliša, upravljanje prometom, realizaciju pametnih kuća itd. Najveći problemi kod senzorskih mreža su usmjeravanje, sigurnost, minimiziranje potrošnje energije, izbjegavanje sudara, samo prilagodljivost na promjenu gustoće senzora itd. Cilj ovog rada je opisati arhitekturu senzorski mreža i protokolarni složaj, upoznati se s glavnim problemima koji se susreću prilikom realizacije neke senzorske mreže, detaljno se upoznati sa svim protokolima usmjeravanja koji se mogu danas koristiti za realizaciju senzorske mreže, te provesti analizu protokola usmjeravanja koji su dostupni u mrežnom simulatoru NS2, nad postavljenom topologijom.

Abstract (english)

Sensory networks enable us to gather data directly from our environment (the real world), digitize them, and send them to different parts of our network. Data collected by the network node is sent by the fastest and most reliable route to the central node where it is processed and saved for later use, or discarded if it has no value. Sensory node networks were primarily used by the military, but today their usage spans many areas, so they are integrated in our environment to help us avoid natural disasters(floods, earthquakes, etc.), regulate traffic, control smart houses, etc. The biggest issues of sensory node networks are routing, security, energy consumption, collision avoidance, sensor density adaptation, etc. The goal of this thesis is to describe sensor network architecture and protocol composition, acquaint ourselves with the main problems in setting up a sensory network, analyze in detail all the routing protocols that are available today, and finally, do an analysis of the routing protocols available in the NS2 network simulator with the given network topology.
