Abstract

Ovaj se rad bavi postupkom implementacije odašiljača i prijamnika BPSK modulacijske metode za prijenos signala ljudskim tijelom (IBC) koristeći Cypressov PSoC Analog Coprocessor. U radu je napravljen pregled mogućih rješenja i njihova ograničenja.Navedeni sustav nije moguće u cjelini izvesti na PSoC Analog Coprocessoru zbog ograničenja mikrokontrolera, kojem nije namjena da bude korišten u ovakve svrhe. Korišteni PSoC Analog Coprocessor nema resurse za izvedbu modulatora u samom sklopovlju, zbog čega je BPSK modulator realiziran programski, korištenjem DMA sklopa i prekida. Implementacija BPSK demodulatora na samostalnom PSoC Analog Coprocessoru je nemoguća zbog manjka resursa i ključnih komponenata kao i dokumentacije za neke komponente. Zbog toga je demodulator realiziran korištenjem PSoC 5 mikrokontrolera.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this thesis is implementation of BPSK modulation on Cypress PSoC Analog Coprocessor for intrabody communication (IBC). The thesis gives an overview of various implementation models, explained step by step, with highlighted problems and constraints. Hardware implementation of modulator is impossible to achieve due to the lack of resources and limits of the PSoC Analog Coprocessor, which was not intended for these purposes. PSoC Analog Coprocessor does not have hardware resources needed for modulator implementation, so the IBC BPSK modulator was realized as a software implementation employing DMA unit and interrupts.
Because of the problems explained in the thesis, IBC BPSK demodulator was realized using PSoC 5 alongside PSoC Analog Coprocessor, due to lack of resources and proper documentation of the former.
