Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad opisuje sustave vizualne podrške s naglaskom na vizualne rasporede i načine na koje oni pomažu djeci koja pate od poremećaja iz spektra autizma kod poticanja vještina sekvencioniranja, razumijevanja slijeda aktivnosti u vremenu, smanjivanja anksioznosti i općenito poteškoća u komunikaciji. U praktičnom dijelu rada implementiran je prototip aplikacije za mobilne telefone i tablete koji rade na operacijskom sustavu iOS temeljem postojećih ICT-AAC rješenja vizualnog rasporeda za web i uređaje s operacijskim sustavom Android te je opisan način korištenja implementirane aplikacije. Uspoređen je krajnji produkt praktičnog dijela diplomskog rada s odgovarajućom aplikacijom izrađenom za sustav Android te su opisane i objašnjene njihove međusobne razlike. Na kraju je dan pregled dodatnih karakteristika koje posjeduju neke slične, ali naprednije aplikacije s istom svrhom te su na temelju tih karakteristika predložene ideje za njezino poboljšanje.

Abstract (english)

This graduate thesis describes visual support systems, with an emphasis on visual schedules. It also explores ways they help children suffering from autism spectrum disorders in improving sequencing skills, understanding the sequence of activities in time, reducing anxiety, and generally with difficulties in communication. In the practical part of the thesis, a prototype of an application for mobile phones and tablets that work on iOS operating system, based on existing ICT AAC Visual schedule solutions for Android OS based devices and web, has been implemented and the methods of using the implemented application have been described. The result of the practical part of the graduate thesis has been compared with the correspondent application developed for the Android operation system. Differences between them have been described and explained. At the end, a review of additional features of several similar but more advanced applications for the same purpose has been given and ideas for application improvement have been suggested.
