Abstract

Napredak tehnologije Li-ion baterija omogućuje skladištenje dovoljne količine energije da bi se ostvarili zahtjevi na udaljenost koju je moguće prevaliti jednim punjenjem baterija električnog automobila. Međutim, skladištenje takvih količina energije u električnom automobilu predstavlja velik sigurnosni rizik. Da bi se osigurao ispravan rad baterije, te da bi se poboljšale performanse i produžio životni vijek baterije, korištenje sustava nadzora je neophodno. Posebna pažnja mora biti posvećena osiguravanju ispravnog rada sustava nadzora. U ovom radu, proces razvoja hardware-a je opisan na primjeru razvoja modula za mjerenje struje baterije električnog automobila. Dani su zahtjevi na modul s naglaskom na sigurnost, preciznost i cijenu te je odabrana metoda koja zadovoljava postavljene zahtjeve. Odabrana je oprema za implementaciju dane metode te su razvijene električne sheme povezivanja odabrane opreme. Dan je raspored komponenti tiskane pločice zadužene za mjerenja struje i napona te kontrolu releja sustava nadzora baterijskog modula. Nakon izrade pločice, odabrana oprema je postavljena te je potvrđena osnovna funkcionalnost tiskane pločice.

Abstract (english)

Advances in Li-ion battery technology are paving the way for introducing more electrical vehicles to the market. These batteries are capable of storing sufficient amounts of energy which allow for requirements on driving range of an electrical car to be met. However, utilizing the battery through a battery management system is necessary to ensure the safe operation of the battery, as well as to enhance its performance and prolong its lifetime. Therefore, safety concept of the battery management system is of great importance and must be considered from the very start of the design process. Within this thesis, hardware design process is described on the example of developing a current measurement module. Requirements regarding accuracy, safety and price are set on the module and an appropriate method is selected to meet the stated requirements. Components meeting the requirements and implementing the selected method are selected and electrical wiring schemes are given. Based on the electrical wiring schemes, a PCB layout for the switching and measured interface board of the battery management system is made. The board is manufactured, components are placed and basic functionality is verified.
