Abstract

Razvojem tehnologije i porastom broja vozila, povećanje sigurnosti postaje sve aktualnija tema. Pravovremeno uočavanje opasnosti ključan je sigurnosni faktor. U literaturi je predložen niz algoritama korištenih u sustavima za pravovremeno upozoravanje vozača od naleta. U ovom smo radu odabrali neke najčešće korištene algoritme u tom kontekstu te ih simulirali u situacijama čestima u prometu. Zaključili smo da Hirst and Graham algoritam uglavnom daje zadovoljavajuće rezultate, dok ostali algoritmi u većini scenarija ne daju pravovremena upozorenja.

Abstract (english)

Development of technology and the increasing number of vehicles on the roads makes security in traffic more and more important topic of discussion. Observing dangers early enough is a key security factor. A number of algorithms used in warning the driver of the danger have been suggested in the literature. We have considered some of the mostly used ones in this context and simulated them in situations often encountered in the traffic. The conclusion was that the Hirst and Graham algorithm generally performs the best, while the remaining algorithms do not result in a sufficiently good performance.
