Abstract
Na Svjetskoj radiokomunikacijskoj konferenciji WRC-12 predložene su promjene u pojasu 694-790 MHz (druga digitalna dividenda) koje su odgođene do 2015. godine. Kako bi se mogle provesti sva potrebna istraživanja. U ovom radu je definirana digitalna dividenda. Napravljen je pregled učinkovitijih standarda za kompresiju, kao i prijenosnih standarda koji će povećati kapacitet digitalnih zemaljskih televizijskih mreža. Implementacija druge digitalne dividende bi dovela do međunarodne harmonizacije u pojasu 700 MHz, ali bi također stvorila brojne izazove koji su u ovom radu obrađeni.
Abstract (english)
At the World Radiocommunication Conference WRC-12 there was proposal for immediate reallocation in the band 694-790 MHz (second digital dividend). Reallocation was postponed to 2015. in order to enable studies to be concluded. In this thesis digital dividend is described. There is also an overview of more efficient compression and transmission standards which will improve the capacity of digital terrestrial television networks. Implementation of the second digital dividend could lead to international harmonization of the 700 MHz band, but it will also create a number of challenges which are discussed in this thesis.
