Abstract

Zbog nedostatka AD/DA konvertera na STM32F4 Discovery board-u čiji se STM32F4 ugradbeni računalni sustav temelji na ARM Cortex-M4, za analizu audio signala korišten je eksterni audio kodek koji sadrži potrebne AD/DA konvertere. U radu je opisano povezivanje STM32F4 sa audio kodekom koristeći I2C i I2S komunikacijske protokole. Za konfiguriranje periferija STM32F4 mikrokontrolera korišten je STM32F4CubeMX softver dok je debugiranje i pisanje koda za programiranje STM32F4 i Wolfson8731 koji se nalazi na kodeku, obavljeno u Keil μVision5 programu. Za analizu komunikacije te slanja signala i podataka između pločica, korišten je softver Saleae.

Abstract (english)

Due to the lack of AD/DA converters on the STM32F4 Discovery board, whose embedded system is based on the ARM Cortex-M4, an external audio codec containing the necessary AD/DA converters was used for audio signal analysis. This paper describes the connection of the STM32F4 with the audio codec using I2C and I2S communication protocols. The STM32CubeMX software was used for configuring the peripherals of the STM32F4 microcontroller, while debugging and writing code for programming the STM32F4 and Wolfson8731 (located on the codec) were done in the Keil μVision5 program. The Saleae software was used for analyzing the
communication and transmission of signals and data between the boards.
