Abstract

Ovaj rad se bavi problemom kolorizacije crno-bijelih slika koristeći tehniku dubokog učenja zvanu generativne suparničke mreže (GAN). Koncept GAN-a detaljno je analiziran, pri čemu je istražena njegova složena arhitektura u svrhu razumijevanja i poboljšanja procesa kolorizacije crno-bijelih slika. Koristeći iterativno eksperimentiranje s različitim funkcijama gubitka i optimizacijskim tehnikama, te evaluacijom modela kroz različite iteracije, pokušalo se usavršiti model za postizanje visokokvalitetnih koloriziranih slika. Unatoč nekim ograničenjima u pogledu resursa i vremena, rezultati rada su dobar temelj za daljnja istraživanja, otvarajući put prema optimizaciji modela i unapređenju kvalitete kolorizacije.

Abstract (english)

This paper addresses the problem of colorizing black and white images using a deep learning technique known as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). The concept of GANs is analyzed in detail, with its complex architecture explored for understanding and enhancing the process of colorizing black and white images. By employing iterative experimentation with various loss functions and optimization techniques, and by evaluating the model through different iterations, it was attempted to refine the model to achieve high-quality colorized images. Despite some limitations in terms of resources and time, results provide a solid foundation for future research, opening the way towards the optimization of the model and the improvement of the quality of colorization.
