Abstract

Ovaj rad istražuje primjenu statističkih metoda i metoda strojnog učenja u analizi podataka iz zdravstva. Primjena strojnog učenja u zdravstvenom sektoru uključuje klasifikaciju bolesti, predviđanje dijagnoza, otkrivanje prijevara u zdravstvenom osiguranju, personalizaciju tretmana i analizu medicinskih slika. Rad proučava podatkovni skup u svrhu identifikacije rizičnih faktora i predviđanja dijagnoze raka pluća. Provedena je eksploratorna analiza s ciljem boljeg shvaćanja skupa te su zatim, uz stečena saznanja o značajkama skupa, implementirana četiri prediktivna modela čiji su rezultati prikazani i međusobno uspoređeni.

Abstract (english)

This paper explores the application of statistical methods and machine learning techniques in healthcare data analysis. The use of machine learning in the healthcare sector includes disease classification, diagnosis prediction, fraud detection in health insurance, treatment personalization and medical image analysis. The paper explores the dataset with the aim of identifying risk factors and predicting lung cancer diagnosis. An exploratory analysis was conducted to gain a better understanding of the dataset. Based on the acquired knowledge of the dataset's features, four predictive models were implemented and their results were presented and compared.
