Abstract

Agregatori fleksibilnosti potrošnje predstavljaju nove dionike na tržištu energije koji su zaduženi za agregiranje fragmentiranih izvora fleksibilnosti i njihovu valorizaciju na tržištu. Ovaj rad razmatra mogućnost valorizacije fleksibilnosti potrošnje u cilju ostvarivanja ušteda energije. Za tu potrebu razvijen je model koji s relativno malo prikupljenih podataka daje mogućnost ocjene učinka takvog programa. Određivanje dostupne fleksibilnosti u kućanstvima otežava nedostupnost povijesnih podataka o potrošnji uređaja prikladne granularnosti i preciznosti. Metoda se zasniva na ekstrapolaciji iz minimalnog dostupnog skupa podataka, analizira ključne parametre koji utječu na potrošnju, primjenjuje regresijske modele te omogućava kvantifikaciju tako dobivene fleksibilnosti. Razvijeni model je prilagođen tipičnim obrascima korištenja kućanstava i potrošnje u mediteranskim zemljama gdje je dostupnost daljinskog grijanja uobičajeno manjkava. Rezultati koji su dobiveni iz modela gdje se prioritiziraju energetske uštede uz minimalni utjecaj na komfor korisnika, povoljni su za ona kućanstva čije zgrade pokazuju bolja energetska svojstva. U okviru ovog rada predloženi su i indikatori koji bi u stvarnom okruženju mogli olakšati kvantifikaciju fleksibilnosti u okviru standardiziranih procesa za praćenje i verifikaciju.

Abstract (english)

Local flexibility aggregators can be a source of innovative aggregation solutions at the local level. The unleashed flexibility potential of households could create new revenue streams for local flexibility aggregators. This thesis considers the possibility of valorisation of short-term flexibility activations in a form of energy savings. A model has been developed for this purpose, which with minimal available collected dataset offers the possibility of evaluating the effect of such a program. The assessment of available flexibility within household’s could be arduous due to the lack of historical energy consumption data of the flexibility assets with the appropriate granularity and precision. The method is based on the extrapolation from the minimal available data set, analyses key parameters that affects consumption, applies regression models, and allows the quantification of the obtained flexibility. The developed model is adapted to typical consumption and behavioural patterns of households in Mediterranean countries where the availability of district heating network may be scarce. The results obtained from the model, where energy savings are prioritized with minimal impact on user comfort, show favourable results for those households whose buildings show better energy properties. As part of this research, indicators that could facilitate the quantification of flexibility within the standardized monitoring and verification processes in the real environment are proposed.
