Abstract

Studenti, kao i svi ostali ljudi, imaju određene predrasude prema kolegama s drugih fakulteta. Prirodno je pretpostaviti da studenti pojedinih fakulteta imaju različite interese ili navike te da postoje određeni stavovi koji povezuju studente s istih fakulteta ili podrucja studija. U radu je potrebno postaviti hipoteze o stavovima i navikama studentske populacije. Potrebno je provesti anketu nad studentima Sveucilišta u Zagrebu na temu njihovih životnih navika. Potrebno je testirati prethodno postavljene hipoteze te kreirati model strojnog učenja za klasificiranje studenata po područjima studija.

Abstract (english)

It’s human nature to make assumptions about the people that surround us, and university students are no exception. The assumption that a person’s interests and habits may vary depending on what field of study they’re in isn’t ludicrous and may even have some foundation to it. In this paper, we will be exploring the hypothesis that certain personality traits and/or habits are closely related to a person’s branch of academic studies. Within the scope of the paper we will be conducting a survey of the students of University of Zagreb as a means of gathering data in order to do an exploratory analysis testing the aforementioned hypothesis. The data analysis will be done using statistic and machine learning methods.
