Abstract	U ovom radu dan je pregled mrežnih sustava za detekciju napada te literature na temu primjene strojnog učenja za detekciju. Detaljnije su opisani algoritam slučajne šume i umjetna neuronska mreža. Predložena su rješenja za detekciju temeljena na detekciji anomalija pomoću dva opisana algoritma. Rješenja su evaluirana korištenjem CICIDS2017 skupa podataka i međusobno uspoređena.
Abstract (english)	This thesis provides an overview of network-based intrusion detection systems and related work on the application of machine learning for detection. Random forest algorithm and artificial neural network are described in more detail. Detection solutions based on anomaly detection using the two described algorithms are proposed. The solutions were evaluated using the CICIDS2017 dataset and compared with each other.
