Abstract

Obogaćene komunikacijske usluge (RCS) utemeljene su na protokolima koji omogućavaju međuoperatorske komunikacijske usluge utemeljene na IMS sustavu. RCS usluge su namijenjene natjecanju s OTT (Over The Top) aplikacijama i vraćanju prometa u sustav operatora. RCS univerzalni profil sadrži smjernice razvoja RCS usluga. Razvojem po smjernicama univerzalnog profila se osigurava uspješna komunikacija između pružatelja RCS usluga. Implementirana je poslovna RCS aplikacija i snimljen je promet tijekom komunikacije korisnika i aplikacije (A2P). Analiziran je snimljeni promet i uspoređen s protokolima SMS-a i OTT aplikacija. Pokazane su prednosti RCS aplikacija, potpora tržišta te pregled daljnjeg razvojnog plana protokola RCS.

Abstract (english)

Rich communication services (RCS) protocols create inter-operator communication services based on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). RCS services are created with goal to compete with OTT (Over The Top) applications and return messaging services to the operators system. RCS universal profile includes guidelines for creating RCS services. Following these guidelines ensures interoperability between different RCS service providers. A business application has been implemented and communication between the client and the application recorded (A2P). The communication has been analyzed and compared to OTT and SMS protocols. Advantages of using RCS has been shown, as well as market support and penetration.
