Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu se istražuje uloga digitalnog modeliranja u sklopu Industrije 4.0. U uvodnim poglavljima objašnjeni su pojmovi Industrije 4.0 i digitalnog blizanca, čime je dan kontekst za razumijevanje cilja ovog rada. Praktični dio rada se sveo na izradu digitalnog modela proizvodnog procesa tvornice Muraplast, korištenjem programske podrške za 3D vizualizaciju i simulaciju proizvodnih procesa. Izrađeni model je idejno rješenje za automatizaciju procesa proizvodnje polietilenskih rola uz primjenu mobilnih robota. Zaključno, taj model nije digitalni blizanac u pravom smislu jer postoje određena tehnološka ograničenja, ali se može uočiti da je programska podrška ovog tipa definitivno snažan i koristan alat za vizualizaciju i simulaciju proizvodnih linija, te je značajan korak naprijed za razvoj Industrije 4.0.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the role of digital modeling in the context of Industry 4.0. The starting chapters explain the concepts of Industry 4.0 and digital twins, which gives the needed context to understand the point of this thesis. The practical part of the thesis involved creating a digital model of a manufacturing process of Muraplast factory, using a software for 3D visualization and simulation of manufacturing processes. The created model is a conceptual solution for automating the manufacturing process of polyethylene rolls with assistance from mobile robots. In conclusion, that model is not a digital twin in the full sense of the term, due to technological limitations, but the software used for the thesis proves to be a powerful and useful tool for visualization and simulation of manufacturing processes and is a significant step in the development of Industry 4.0.
