Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu obrađene su karakteristike audiosignala u vremenskoj i frekvencijskoj domeni. Nakon toga, obrađene su karakteristike instrumenata u vremenskoj i frekvencijskoj domeni, te su dani primjeri karakteristika nekoliko instrumenata. Nekoliko instrumenata je analizirano u programskom jeziku Matlab, te su se sintezirali njihovi zvukovi iz tako dobivenih karakteristika. Nakon tog koraka provedena je usporedba realnih i sintetiziranih instrumenata te donesen zaključak o kvaliteti sinteze.

Abstract (english)

This thesis discusses the features of audio signals in time and frequency domain. Characterics of musical instruments are analysed in time and frequency domain. Characteristics of several instruments are listed, analysed and explained. Several musical instruments have also been analyzed in Matlab in order to obtain their time and frequency domain characteristics. The characteristics were then used to synthesize the sound of the instruments, and the quality of synthesis was estimated by comparison with real samples.
