Abstract

Ovaj završni rad prikazuje proces testiranja baze podataka koja je temelj informacijskog sustava koji se koristi za organizaciju odlaska predstavnika Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva na natjecanje Elektrijada.
Proces testiranja se odvijao u više koraka. Prvi korak je analiza korisničkih zahtjeva nakon čega slijedi izrada podatkovnih skupova za testiranje baze podataka. Kada je to gotovo provodi se testiranje baze podataka te analiza rezultata testiranja. U slučaju da sustav nije prošao test, na njemu se rade preinake te provodi iznova testiranje i tako se nastavi sve dok sustav ne prođe test. Takvo testiranje se zove regresijsko testiranje. U slučaju da je sustav zadovoljio test, prelazi se na sljedeći i tako sve dok postoje testni podaci s kojima sustav nije testiran. Na taj način je potrebno testirati sve što baza sadržava i osigurati ispravno funkcioniranje baze podataka.

Abstract (english)

This bachelor thesis describes the process of testing a database system which is the basis of the information system is used to organise departure of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science representatives at the Elektrijada competition.
The testing process was carried out in several steps. The first step is the analysis of user requirements followed by the creation of data sets for database testing. This step is followed by database testing and an analysis of test results. If the database system did not pass the test, its modifications mast be made and then the testing is performed again, and as long as until the system passes the test. That kind of testing is called regression testing. If the system passed the test, we proceed to the next test case and do so as long as there are any test data with which the system has not been tested. It is necessary to test all the database system content it the described manner and thus ensure proper functioning of the database system.
